Salón Madre is more than a Mexican pool hall in the heart of Manchester. It is a social institution, a bar and food venue with a lush garden and free community events, all brought to life by one of the country’s best architects, Richard Eastwood (R2A Studio).

Our identity for Salón takes a playful diversion from Madre, its parent venue, and steps into the role of the fun, lively child. A hand painted logo, custom illustrations and a bespoke font form the foundation of a design system that carries the energy and atmosphere of Mexico City into a fresh new space that already feels like part of the city’s fabric.
