Celebrating Making In Derbyshire

Derbyshire Makes is a cultural programme celebrating the history, present and future of making in Derbyshire. Across six locations, it brings free events that showcase creativity and culminate in a large Summer Festival, elevating the voices of the communities it serves.

Our identity adds colour and vibrancy to the towns of Derbyshire. The logo is a bold evolution of the council’s branding, while custom icons highlight the county’s rich history. At the heart of the identity is a mascot that adapts to its surroundings and brings an expressive, human energy that sparks curiosity and conversation.

"Sanna pushed the boundaries of what we thought were possible for the brand."
